Certifications

  • CARB (USA)
    The HUSS MK-System and the LPS-SiC filter are verified as a Level 3 Plus diesel emission control system for use with most on-road and off-road diesel engines. In addition, the HUSS FS-MK filter may also be applied to off-road engines using diesel fuel that contains as much as 20 percent biodiesel. In 2010, the verification has been expanded forTRUs.

  • TfL (UK)
    The Transport for London (TfL) authority has certified the active HUSS MD-System. This certification is the base and allowance for retrofitting heavy-duty and on-road applications for the London Low Emission Zone.  

  • ISO 9001
    ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards. HUSS, Metpela and CleanDieselCeramics meet that standard.
  • VERT (Switzerland)
    VERT has approved the HUSS MD, MK, MA, ME and W systems. The credibility of VERT is well known worldwide which allows HUSS to sell its DPFs in various countries. The Swiss standard was the first of its kind for PM reduction systems.
  • KBA approval ABE 17168 (Germany)
    The Federal Motor Transport Authority of Germany (KBA) has certified the active HUSS MD-System. The General Operation Permit (ABE) is the base and allowance for retrofitting trucks in German Low Emission Zones.   
  • TS 16949:2009 (Finland)
    Metpela's management system is in accordance with the TS 16949:2009: quality, delivery and overall efficiency throughout the supply chain are the main aspects covered by this certification.
  • ISO 14001 (Finland)
    Metpela not only meets the ISO 9001 standard, but also the ISO 1400, which represents an environmental management system.
  • 3CV (Chile)
    In Chile, the HUSS MK-System is certified by 3CV - Sales, service and installations are carried out by EMASA SA. 
  • Best Practice Guide of EST (Great Britain)
    The HUSS, MK, MA and W systems are certified under the Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMN) Retrofit Programme requirements for compliance with the Best Practice Guide -London.
  • Technologisk Institut (Denmark)
    The Danish Road Safety and Transport Agency has established a principal approval scheme for particulate filters. The HUSS MK-, ME- and W- systems are have already been released, and we have applied for the MD certification.
  • TRGS 554 and TA Luft (Germany)
    All HUSS filter systems fulfill the requirements of the TRGS 554 and the TA Luft. According to these certifications a wall-flow particulate filter system is needed for Diesel driven vehicles in halls and tunnels (TRGS 554) and for stationary Diesel equipment in plants (TA Luft).
